Arthur Kenlis Maxwell, 11th Baron Farnham1
He held the office of Representative Peer [Ireland].2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 10th Hussars.2 He succeeded as the 11th Baron Farnham, of Farnham, co. Cavan [I., 1756] on 22 November 1900.2 He succeeded as the 13th Baronet Maxwell, of Calderwood [N.S., 1627] on 22 November 1900.2 He fought in the Boer War between 1901 and 1902.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Cavan.2 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Northern Irish Horse Yeomanry.2 He gained the rank of Acting Lieutenant-Colonel in the Service Battalion, Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers.2
