     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Exeter College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1841 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He graduated from Exeter College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1844 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was a partner in the firm of “Antony Gibbs & Sons,” Merchants of London.¹ He was a director of the Bank of England between 1853 and 1901.^1,4 He was a senior partner in the firm of “Antony Gibbs & Sons,” Merchants of London in 1875.¹ He held the office of Governor of the Bank of England between 1875 and 1877.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)¹ He was appointed Fellow, Geological Society (F.G.S.)¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Hertfordshire in 1884.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for the City of London between 1891 and 1892.¹ He was created 1st Baron Aldenham, of Aldenham, Hertfordshire [U.K.] on 31 January 1896.¹ He lived at Clifden Hampden, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He lived at Aldenham House, Aldenham, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ His last will was dated from 19 March 1906 to 28 August 1906.      Mary Albinia Page was born circa 1785.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Thomas Hyde Page and Mary Albinia Woodward.¹ She married Sir Thomas Crawley-Boevey, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Thomas Crawley-Boevey, 2nd Bt. and Ann Savage, on 28 October 1807.¹ She died on 16 February 1835.¹ She was buried at Flaxley Abbey, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹
     Her married name became Crawley-Boevey.

     Sir Thomas Hyde Page married, secondly, Mary Albinia Woodward, daughter of Captain John Woodward.¹ He married, firstly, Susanna Crawley-Boevey, daughter of Thomas Crawley-Boevey and Susanna Lloyd, in 1777.² He died on 20 June 1821.
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Engineers.¹

     Sir Thomas Crawley-Boevey, 2nd Bt. was born on 14 February 1743/44.² He was the son of Thomas Crawley-Boevey and Susanna Lloyd.² He was baptised on 13 March 1743/44 at Flaxley Abbey, Gloucestershire, England^G.² He married Ann Savage, daughter of Reverend Thomas Savage and Eleanor Barrow, on 20 February 1769 at St. Michael’s, Gloucester, Gloucestershire, England^G.² He died on 11 August 1818 at age 74 at Flaxley Abbey, Gloucestershire, England^G.² He was buried on 18 August 1818 at Flaxley Abbey, Gloucestershire, England^G.² His will was proven (by probate) in September 1818.²
     He matriculated at Pembroke College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 27 April 1762.² In November 1769 he succeeded to the Flaxley estate on his father’s death.² He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Barrow, of Hygrove, co.      Ann Savage was the daughter of Reverend Thomas Savage and Eleanor Barrow.¹ She married Sir Thomas Crawley-Boevey, 2nd Bt., son of Thomas Crawley-Boevey and Susanna Lloyd, on 20 February 1769 at St. Michael’s, Gloucester, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ She died on 10 September 1816.¹ She was buried on 17 September 1816 at Flaxley Abbey, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹
     Her married name became Crawley-Boevey.

     Reverend Thomas Savage was born circa 1700. He married Eleanor Barrow, daughter of Thomas Barrow and Ann Hayward.² He died in 1760.
