     William Wilberforce was born on 24 August 1759 at Kingston upon Hull, Yorkshire, England.^1,3 He was the son of Robert Wilberforce and Elizabeth Bird.^4,3 He married Barbara Spooner, daughter of Isaac Spooner and Barbara Gough, on 30 May 1797.¹ He died on 29 July 1833 at age 73.¹ He was buried at Westminster Abbey, Westminster, London, England^G.¹
     In 1789 he introduced a resolution into Parliament condemning the slave-trade.¹ In 1791 he had a motion for the gradual abolition of slavery carried by the House of Commons.¹

     Reginald Garton Wilberforce was born on 23 January 1838.¹ He was the son of Rt. Rev. Samuel Wilberforce.¹ He married Anna Maria Denman, daughter of Hon. Richard Denman and Emma Jones, on 16 July 1867.¹ He died on 19 January 1914 at age 75.¹
     He lived Bramlands.² He was Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)² Sussex.² Henfield.² He was Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)²

     Rt. Rev. Samuel Wilberforce was born on 7 September 1805.¹ He was the son of William Wilberforce and Barbara Spooner.¹ He married Emily Sargent, daughter of Reverend John Sargent and Mary Smith, on 11 June 1828.¹ He died on 19 July 1873 at age 67.¹

     Rt. Rev. Ernest Roland Wilberforce was born on 22 January 1840.¹ He was the son of Rt. Rev. Samuel Wilberforce and Emily Sargent.^1,2 He married, firstly, Frances Mary Anderson, daughter of Sir Charles Henry John Anderson, 9th Bt. and Emma Foljambe, on 23 June 1863.¹ He married, secondly, Emily Maud Connor, daughter of Very Rev. Geroge Henry Connor, on 14 October 1874.¹ He died on 9 September 1907 at age 67.¹
     He held the office of Bishop of Chichester.³ He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)³

     Frances Mary Anderson was born on 10 October 1840.² She was the daughter of Sir Charles Henry John Anderson, 9th Bt. and Emma Foljambe.¹ She was baptised on 1 November 1840.² She married Rt. Rev. Ernest Roland Wilberforce, son of Rt. Rev. Samuel Wilberforce and Emily Sargent, on 23 June 1863.¹ She died on 21 October 1870 at age 30, without issue.¹
     From 23 June 1863, her married name became Wilberforce.¹

     Emily Maud Connor was the daughter of Very Rev. Geroge Henry Connor.¹ She married Rt. Rev. Ernest Roland Wilberforce, son of Rt. Rev. Samuel Wilberforce and Emily Sargent, on 14 October 1874.¹ She died on 17 July 1941.¹
     From 14 October 1874, her married name became Wilberforce.¹

     Very Rev. Geroge Henry Connor held the office of Dean of Windsor.¹ He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)¹

     Emily Sargent was the daughter of Reverend John Sargent and Mary Smith.¹ She married Rt. Rev. Samuel Wilberforce, son of William Wilberforce and Barbara Spooner, on 11 June 1828.¹ She died on 10 March 1841.¹
     From 11 June 1828, her married name became Wilberforce.¹

     Reverend John Sargent married Mary Smith, daughter of Abel Smith.¹

     Mary Smith is the daughter of Abel Smith.¹ She married Reverend John Sargent.¹
     Her married name became Sargent.¹
