     Rt. Hon. Walter Elliot was the son of William Elliot.3 He married Katharine Tennant, Baroness Elliot of Harwood, daughter of Sir Charles Clow Tennant of The Glen, 1st Bt. and Marguerite Agaranthe Miles, on 2 April 1934.1 He died on 8 January 1958.3,1
     He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)3 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.)3 He was appointed Companion of Honour (C.H.)3 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)3

     Reverend Cyrus Hudson was born in 1810 at West Bromwich, Staffordshire, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Reverend John Hudson and Sarah Spear.1 He married Harriet Anne Jones, daughter of Morris Jones and Elizabeth Evans, on 20 March 1846.1 He died on 24 March 1871.1
     He graduated from Glasgow University, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, ScotlandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1

     Harriet Anne Jones was born circa 1817 at Montgomeryshire, Wales.2 She was the daughter of Morris Jones and Elizabeth Evans.2,1 She married Reverend Cyrus Hudson, son of Reverend John Hudson and Sarah Spear, on 20 March 1846.1 She died in 1928 at Bath, Somerset, England.2
     From 20 March 1846, her married name became Hudson.1
