     Hon. Alexandra Rhoda Astley was born on 28 September 1886.¹ She was the daughter of Sir George Manners Astley, 20th Lord Hastings and Hon. Elizabeth Evelyn Harbord.¹ She married Brigadier George Frederick Arthur Pigot-Moodie on 16 October 1917.¹ She died on 20 April 1918 at age 31.¹
     From 16 October 1917, her married name became Pigot-Moodie.¹

     Brigadier George Frederick Arthur Pigot-Moodie married Hon. Alexandra Rhoda Astley, daughter of Sir George Manners Astley, 20th Lord Hastings and Hon. Elizabeth Evelyn Harbord, on 16 October 1917.¹ He died on 14 March 1959.¹
     He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Scots Guards.¹ He gained the rank of Brigadier in the Machine Gun Corps.¹

     John Peter Pigot-Moodie was born on 21 February 1918.² He was the son of Brigadier George Frederick Arthur Pigot-Moodie and Hon. Alexandra Rhoda Astley.¹ He died on 4 August 1940 at age 22, killed while on active service.¹
     He was educated at Royal Naval College, Darmouth, Devon, England.² He fought in the Second World War, in the Royal Navy.¹

     Hon. Bridget Astley was born on 8 March 1889.¹ She was the daughter of Sir George Manners Astley, 20th Lord Hastings and Hon. Elizabeth Evelyn Harbord.¹ She died on 2 March 1906 at age 16, unmarried.¹

     Hon. Hester Winifred Astley was born on 17 May 1899.¹ She was the daughter of Sir George Manners Astley, 20th Lord Hastings and Hon. Elizabeth Evelyn Harbord.¹ She married Alan Houghton Broderick, son of Alan Broderick, on 26 July 1923.¹ She died in 1980.¹
     From 26 July 1923, her married name became Broderick.¹

     Alan Houghton Broderick was the son of Alan Broderick.¹ He married Hon. Hester Winifred Astley, daughter of Sir George Manners Astley, 20th Lord Hastings and Hon. Elizabeth Evelyn Harbord, on 26 July 1923.¹ He died in 1973.¹
     He was awarded the Chevalier, Legion of Honour.¹

     Alan Broderick lived at Wooder Manor, Devon, England^G.¹

     John Alan St. John Broderick was born on 1 July 1924.¹ He was the son of Alan Houghton Broderick and Hon. Hester Winifred Astley.¹ He died on 4 June 2006 at age 81.²
     He lived in 2003 at 33 Chesil Court, Chelsea Manor Street, London, England^G.¹

     Major Hon. Simon Nevill Astley was born on 13 August 1919.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Sir Albert Edward Delavel Astley, 21st Lord Hastings and Lady Marguerite Helen Nevill.¹ He married Lady Joan Patricia Quirk Wavell, daughter of Field Marshal Archibald Percival Wavell, 1st Earl Wavell and Eugenie Marie Quirk, on 27 January 1943.¹ He died on 16 March 1946 at age 26 at Quetta, Baluchistan, Pakistan^G, following a motor accident.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the 7th Queen’s Own Hussars.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was Aide-de-Camp to the Commander-in-Chief India in 1942.¹ He was Aide-de-Camp to the Viceroy of India in 1943.¹

     Lady Joan Patricia Quirk Wavell was born on 23 April 1923.² She is the daughter of Field Marshal Archibald Percival Wavell, 1st Earl Wavell and Eugenie Marie Quirk.^3,2 She married, firstly, Major Hon. Simon Nevill Astley, son of Lt.-Col. Sir Albert Edward Delavel Astley, 21st Lord Hastings and Lady Marguerite Helen Nevill, on 27 January 1943.¹ She married, secondly, Major Harry Alastair Gordon, son of Commander Alastair Gordon, on 19 June 1948.¹ She married, thirdly, Major Donald Struan Robertson, son of Rt. Hon. Sir Malcolm Arnold Robertson and Gladys Ingalls, after 1973.¹
     From 27 January 1943, her married name became Astley.¹ From 19 June 1948, her married name became Gordon.¹ From after 1973, her married name became Robertson.¹ She lived in 2003 at Willowfield House, Spanish Green, Stratfield Turgis, Hampshire, England^G.¹
