     James Wilson of Airdrie was born on 30 May 1809.¹ He was the son of James Wilson and Helen Menzies.² He married, firstly, Agnes Motherwell, daughter of William Motherwell of Airdrie, in December 1840.¹ He married, secondly, Agnes Paul Millar, daughter of Robert Millar, on 17 April 1855.¹ He died on 27 September 1887 at age 78.¹
     On 17 April 1855 married 2nd Agnes Paul (died 12 June 1867), daughter of Robert Millar, of Airdrie.¹ He acquired Airdrie through his first wife.¹ He lived at Airdrie, New Monkland, Lanarkshire, Scotland^G.¹ He had a second son by his first wife.¹

     Agnes Motherwell was the daughter of William Motherwell of Airdrie.² She married James Wilson of Airdrie, son of James Wilson and Helen Menzies, in December 1840.¹ She died on 18 July 1847.¹
     From December 1840, her married name became Wilson.¹

     Sir John Wilson of Airdrie, 1st Bt. was born on 26 June 1843.¹ He was the son of James Wilson of Airdrie and Agnes Motherwell.² He married, firstly, Margaret Bell Robertson, daughter of James Robertson, on 26 September 1878.¹ He married, secondly, Emma Alexandrina Binnie, daughter of David Binnie and Jane Robertson, on 25 June 1889.¹ He died on 28 July 1918 at age 75.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Fife.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Glasgow.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lanarkshire.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Lanarkshire.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Falkirk Burghs between 1895 and 1906.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Wilson, of Airdrie, New Monkland, Lanarks [U.K.] on 27 July 1906.¹

     James Robertson lived at Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Margaret Bell Robertson was the daughter of James Robertson.² She married Sir John Wilson of Airdrie, 1st Bt., son of James Wilson of Airdrie and Agnes Motherwell, on 26 September 1878.¹ She died on 27 March 1885.¹
     From 26 September 1878, her married name became Wilson.¹

     Sir James Robertson Wilson of Airdrie, 2nd Bt. was born on 5 May 1883.¹ He was the son of Sir John Wilson of Airdrie, 1st Bt. and Margaret Bell Robertson.² He married Helen Rae Fife Graham, daughter of Archibald Bulloch Graham, on 15 January 1908.¹ He died on 30 September 1964 at age 81.¹
     He was educated at Uppingham School, Uppingham, Rutland, England^G.¹ He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1906 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Lanarkshire Yeomanry.¹ He fought in the First World War between 1915 and 1917, in Gallipoli and Egypt.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Wilson, of Airdrie, New Monkland, Lanarks [U.K., 1906] on 28 July 1918.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Perthshire.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Perthshire.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the AA Battery, Royal Artillery.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was admitted to the Royal Company of Archers.¹

     Archibald Bulloch Graham lived at Auldhouse, Crieff, Perthshire, Scotland^G.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹

     Helen Rae Fife Graham was the daughter of Archibald Bulloch Graham.² She married Sir James Robertson Wilson of Airdrie, 2nd Bt., son of Sir John Wilson of Airdrie, 1st Bt. and Margaret Bell Robertson, on 15 January 1908.¹ She died on 24 May 1971.¹
     From 15 January 1908, her married name became Wilson.¹
