Sir Charles Rowley, 2nd Bt. was born on 16 February 1801.1 He was the son of Admiral Sir Charles Rowley, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth King.2 He married, firstly, Frances Evelyn, daughter of John Evelyn and Anne Shee, on 31 August 1822.1 He married, secondly, Peroline Marcowitz, daughter of Michel Marcowitz, on 5 April 1843.1 He died on 23 November 1884 at age 83.1
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Rowley, of Hill House, co. Berks [U.K., 1836] on 13 October 1845.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Suffolk.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel.1
