     Her married name became Emerson. She was appointed Fellow, Institute of Chartered Accountants (F.C.A.)¹ From 8 November 1962, her married name became Carden.¹

     F/Lt. Roderick Stanley Emerson was born circa 1916.² He was the son of George Emerson.¹ He married Gwyneth Sybil Acland, daughter of Herbert Arthur Dyke Acland and Maud Kathleen Branson, on 6 June 1942.¹ He died on 21 February 1944, killed in action.¹
     F/Lt. Roderick Stanley Emerson usually went by his middle name of Derick.² He was registered as a Associate Member, Institution of Civil Engineers (A.M.I.C.E.)³ He fought in the Second World War. He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.¹

     Phillip Reginald Chase was born on 22 March 1949.¹ He is the son of Reginald Chase and Stephanie Jane Acland.¹ He married, firstly, Josephine Marian Whiting, daughter of W. T. Whiting, in 1984.² He and Josephine Marian Whiting were divorced in 1985.² He married, secondly, Josephine Eleanor Weeks in 1988.²
