     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He was Attaché to Washington in 1930.1 He was Attaché to Paris between 1932 and 1934.1 He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He was awarded the Order of Icelandic Falcon in 1965.1

     Her married name became Mardon.1 From 1 June 1923, her married name became Ralli.
