     He graduated from St. John’s College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was an assistant master at Shrewsbury School, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Battalion, Shropshire Light Infantry.¹

     Graham Trevor Pound was born on 23 January 1890.¹ He was the son of Sir John Lulham Pound, 2nd Bt. and Julia Isabella Allen.² He died on 23 February 1964 at age 74, unmarried.¹
     He was educated at Merchant Taylors’ School, London, England^G.¹ He graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Engineers.¹ He fought in the First World War between 1915 and 1919, where he was wounded.¹ He was registered as a Member, Institution of Civil Engineers (M.Inst.C.E.)¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1949.¹

     Murray Stuart Pound was born on 18 April 1891.¹ He was the son of Sir John Lulham Pound, 2nd Bt. and Julia Isabella Allen.² He died on 7 November 1914 at age 23, from wounds received in action.¹
     He graduated from Pembroke College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Royal West Surrey Regiment.¹
