     He graduated from University of New Zealand, New Zealand^G, in 1900 with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)¹ He was a practising barrister.¹ He was a partner with Lane Neave at Christchurch, New Zealand^G.²

     Arthur Cormack Neave was born on 4 June 1877 at Christchurch, New Zealand^G.^1,2 He was the son of Francis Digby Spencer Neave and Eliza Marianne Cormack.³ He died on 18 February 1900 at age 22 at Paardeberg, South Africa^G, killed in action.¹
     He graduated from University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He fought in the Boer War.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the 1st Battalion, Yorkshire Regiment.¹

     Everard Aldigus Neave was born in 1879 at Christchurch, New Zealand^G.^1,2 He was the son of Francis Digby Spencer Neave and Eliza Marianne Cormack.³ He married Nora Lansdowne Cottell, daughter of George Lansdowne Cottell and Elizabeth Cartwright Aston Perkes, in December 1900.¹ He died in September 1954.¹

     Nora Lansdowne Cottell was born in 1871 at London, England^G.² She was the daughter of George Lansdowne Cottell and Elizabeth Cartwright Aston Perkes.² She married Everard Aldigus Neave, son of Francis Digby Spencer Neave and Eliza Marianne Cormack, in December 1900.¹ She died in 1953.¹
     From December 1900, her married name became Neave.
