     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1901 and 1902.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Essex Regiment.¹ He was awarded the 1914 Star.¹ He was Assistant Instrector of Musketry to the New Zealand Military Forces in 1916.¹

     Helen Elizabeth Mary Miller was the daughter of Robert Miller.² She married Colonel Richard Neave, son of Sheffield Henry Morier Neave and Gertrude Charlotte Margaret Alrey, on 9 October 1912.¹ She died in 1976.¹
     From 9 October 1912, her married name became Neave.

     Major Robert Morier Sheffield Neave was born on 12 June 1917.¹ He was the son of Colonel Richard Neave and Helen Elizabeth Mary Miller.² He married Philippa Elizabeth Ramsden, daughter of Lt.-Col. Vincent Basil Ramsden and Marjorie Elsie Philipps, on 13 September 1952.¹ He died on 21 September 1995 at age 78.¹
     He was educated at Sherborne School, Sherborne, Dorset, England^G.² He was educated at London University, London, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded.² He gained the rank of Major in the 13th/18th Hussars (Special Reserve.)¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He was with the Colonial Service in Kenya and Cyprus between 1948 and 1956.² He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (M.R.C.V.S.)²

     Lt.-Col. Vincent Basil Ramsden was the son of Richard Ramsden.² He married Marjorie Elsie Philipps, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Ivor Philipps and Marion Isobel Mirrees, on 30 October 1925.² He died on 6 April 1936.
     He lived at Siddinghurst, Surrey, England.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the South Wales Borderers.² He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ Lt.-Col. Vincent Basil Ramsden usually went by his middle name of Basil.² He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹

     Philippa Elizabeth Ramsden is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Vincent Basil Ramsden and Marjorie Elsie Philipps.² She married Major Robert Morier Sheffield Neave, son of Colonel Richard Neave and Helen Elizabeth Mary Miller, on 13 September 1952.¹
     From 13 September 1952, her married name became Neave.

     Julia Helen Neave was born on 29 May 1953.¹ She is the daughter of Major Robert Morier Sheffield Neave and Philippa Elizabeth Ramsden.² She married Jonathan Bennett Walker in 1976.¹
     From 1976, her married name became Walker.
