     Sir Norman Moore, 1st Bt. was born on 8 January 1847.¹ He was the son of Robert Ross Rowan Moore and Rebecca Fisher.² He married, firstly, Amy Smith, daughter of William Leigh Smith, on 30 March 1880.¹ He married, secondly, Milicent Ludlow, daughter of Maj.-Gen. John Ludlow, on 1 September 1903.¹ He died on 30 November 1922 at age 75.¹
