     Lieutenant Frederick William Joseph Macdonald Miller was born on 21 December 1891.¹ He was the son of Sir William Frederick Miller of Glenlee, 5th Bt. and Mary Augusta Augusta Manning.¹ He died on 23 October 1914 at age 22, killed in action.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Grenadier Guards.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Lindsay (?) married Patrick Miller, son of William Miller of Glenlee and Janet Hamilton.¹
     Her married name became Miller.¹

     Patrick Miller is the son of Patrick Miller and Lindsay (?)² He married Matilda Cuming, daughter of Thomas Cuming, in 1804.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 12th Lancers.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dumfriesshire between 1790 and 1796.¹

     Matilda Cuming is the daughter of Thomas Cuming.² She married Patrick Miller, son of Patrick Miller and Lindsay (?), in 1804.¹
     From 1804, her married name became Miller.¹

     Major William Miller is the son of Patrick Miller and Lindsay (?)² He married Frances Every, daughter of Sir Edward Every, 8th Bt. and Mary Morley.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Horse Guards (Blues.)¹

     Sir Edward Every, 8th Bt. was baptised on 15 August 1754.² He was the son of John Every and Mary Lunn.² He married Mary Morley, daughter of Edward Morley, on 4 September 1776.² He died circa January 1786.² He was buried on 4 January 1786.²
     He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Every, of Egginton, co. Derby [E., 1641] on 29 June 1779.² He held the office of High Sheriff of Derbyshire in 1783.²

     Frances Every was the daughter of Sir Edward Every, 8th Bt. and Mary Morley.² She married Major William Miller, son of Patrick Miller and Lindsay (?).¹ She died in 1824.¹
     Her married name became Miller.¹

     Thomas Hamilton Miller is the son of Patrick Miller and Lindsay (?)² He married Mary Anne Ram, daughter of Abel Ram.¹
     He was a practising advocate.¹

     Abel Ram lived at Clonattin, County Wexford, Ireland^G.¹
