     Charles William Hewett was born on 14 January 1858.¹ He was the son of Frank William Hewett and Julie Minna von Douallier.² He married Marianne Ellen Munn, daughter of Reverend G. S. Munn, in 1893.¹ He died on 4 December 1942 at age 84.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Indian Navy.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Marianne Ellen Munn was the daughter of Reverend G. S. Munn.² She married Charles William Hewett, son of Frank William Hewett and Julie Minna von Douallier, in 1893.¹ She died on 4 July 1946.¹
     From 1893, her married name became Hewett.

     Brigadier William George Hewett was born on 4 September 1894.¹ He was the son of Charles William Hewett and Marianne Ellen Munn.² He married, firstly, Louise Susan Wolfe, daughter of Francis Richard Wolfe, on 19 April 1922.¹ He and Louise Susan Wolfe were divorced in 1931.¹ He married, secondly, Beatrice Donegan, daughter of Lt.-Col. James Francis Donegan, on 11 June 1932.¹ He died on 30 April 1973 at age 78 at Ellmore, Gloucestershire, England.^1,3
     He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches five times, and was wounded.¹ He gained the rank of Brevet Major.¹ He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) and bar.¹ He gained the rank of Brigadier in the Welch Regiment.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1941.¹ He was District Army Welfare Officer in 1946.¹

     Louise Susan Wolfe is the daughter of Francis Richard Wolfe.² She married, firstly, Brigadier William George Hewett, son of Charles William Hewett and Marianne Ellen Munn, on 19 April 1922.¹ She and Brigadier William George Hewett were divorced in 1931.¹ She married, secondly, Thomas William Dalby Hackett, son of Colonel Robert Isaac Dalby Hackett and Evelyn Mary Wynne-Jones, on 9 February 1934.³
     From 19 April 1922, her married name became Hewett. From 9 February 1934, her married name became Hackett. She lived in 1976 at The Spinney, Appleshaw, Andover, Hampshire, England.³

     Major Richard William Hewett was born on 22 October 1923 at Peshawar, India.¹ He was the son of Brigadier William George Hewett and Louise Susan Wolfe.² He married Rosemary Cridland, daughter of Basil E Cridland, on 24 July 1954.¹ He died on 23 March 2019 at age 95.³
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.¹ He fought in the Malayan Emergency in 1953, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was chairman and managing director of Readers Digest UK.¹ He was director of international operations for Readers Digest USA between 1986 and 1988.¹
