     He gained the rank of Captain in the Army.¹ He was the Governor at Mountjoy Prison, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹

     Marion Robert is the daughter of James Robert.² She married, firstly, Wilson Broadhead before 1934.² She married, secondly, Sir Henry Walter Gilbey, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Walter Gilbey, 1st Bt. and Ellen Parish, on 9 August 1934.¹
     From before 1934, her married name became Broadhead.² From 9 August 1934, her married name became Gilbey.

     Sarah Jane Sandford was the daughter of Joseph Sandford.¹ She married Robert Deane Spread, son of Henry Spread and Hon. Henriette Deane, in 1876.¹ She died on 25 October 1919 at Crawley Down, Sussex, England^G.¹
     From 1876, her married name became Spread.¹

     Walter Anthony Gilbey was born on 26 February 1935.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Walter Gilbey, 2nd Bt. and Marion Robert.² He married Jenifer Mary Price, daughter of James Timothy Noel Price and Hon. Anne Margaret Younger, on 20 April 1964.¹ He died on 13 July 2023 at age 88.³
     He was given the name of Anthony Walter Gilbey at birth.² He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was with Kleinwort Benson between 1954 and 1962.¹ In 1958 his name was legally changed to Walter Anthony Gilbey by Deed Poll.¹ He was finance director of Gilbeys Ltd between 1962 and 1972.¹ He held the office of Member of the House of Keys (M.H.K.)¹ He held the office of Member of the Berkshire County Council between 1966 and 1974.² He adopted Sarah Elizabeth Gilbey.² He was chairman of Mannin Trust Bank between 1972 and 1982.² He was chairman of Mannin International Ltd between 1982 and 1988.² He lived in 2003 at Ballacallin Mooar, Crosby, Marown, Isle of Man^G.¹

     Bernhard II Graf von Bentheim was born in 1425.¹ He married Anna van Egmond, daughter of Willem IV Heer van Egmond Heer van Ijsselstein Schoonderwoerd en Haastrecht and Walburge von Moers-Saarwerden Vrouwe van Baer en Lathum, in 1460.¹ He died in 1473.¹

     Jenifer Mary Price was born on 6 January 1944.² She is the daughter of James Timothy Noel Price and Hon. Anne Margaret Younger.² She married Walter Anthony Gilbey, son of Sir Henry Walter Gilbey, 2nd Bt. and Marion Robert, on 20 April 1964.¹
     From 20 April 1964, her married name became Gilbey. She adopted Sarah Elizabeth Gilbey.² She lived in 2003 at Ballacallin Mooar, Crosby, Marown, Isle of Man.²

     Walter Anthony Gilbey was born on 20 January 1966.¹ He is the son of Walter Anthony Gilbey and Jenifer Mary Price.²
