Lt.-Col. Sir Arthur Grant Trollope, 13th Bt. was born on 10 June 1866.1 He was the son of Arthur Trollope and Elizabeth Lucas.2 He married Anna Georgina Prestage, daughter of Franklin Prestage, in 1889.1 He died on 14 February 1937 at age 70.1
He fought in the Chitral Relief in 1895.1 He was with the Orange Free State Civil Service.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He fought in the Boer War in 1902, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the The Buffs.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.1 He succeeded as the 13th Baronet Trollope, of Casewick, co. Lincoln [E., 1642] on 29 May 1935.1
