     She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1955.¹ From 12 February 1958, her married name became Napier.

     Marjorie Lennox Napier was born on 25 April 1894.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir William Lennox Napier, 3rd Bt. and Mabel Edith Geraldine Forster.² She died on 2 May 1973 at age 79, unmarried.¹

     Gwendolyn Mabel Shelagh Napier was born on 4 November 1900.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir William Lennox Napier, 3rd Bt. and Mabel Edith Geraldine Forster.² She married, firstly, Clive Norman Burnett, son of Walter Burnett, on 27 June 1929.¹ She and Clive Norman Burnett were divorced in 1934.¹ She married, secondly, Thomas Tettrell Phelps on 14 July 1949.²
     Gwendolyn Mabel Shelagh Napier usually went by her middle name of Shelagh.² From 27 June 1929, her married name became Burnett. From 14 July 1949, her married name became Phelps.²

     Clive Norman Burnett is the son of Walter Burnett.² He married Gwendolyn Mabel Shelagh Napier, daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir William Lennox Napier, 3rd Bt. and Mabel Edith Geraldine Forster, on 27 June 1929.¹ He and Gwendolyn Mabel Shelagh Napier were divorced in 1934.¹
     He lived at Embleton, Northumberland, England^G.¹

     Isabelle Muriel Surtees was born circa 1907.² She was the daughter of Major Henry Siward Balliol Surtees.³ She married Lt.-Col. Sir Joseph William Lennox Napier, 4th Bt., son of Lt.-Col. Sir William Lennox Napier, 3rd Bt. and Mabel Edith Geraldine Forster, on 12 February 1931.¹ She died on 20 June 2006.²
     From 12 February 1931, her married name became Napier. She lived in 2003 at 17 Cheyne Gardens, London, England^G, London SW3 5QT.¹

     Sir Robert Surtees Napier, 5th Bt. was born on 5 March 1932.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Sir Joseph William Lennox Napier, 4th Bt. and Isabelle Muriel Surtees.² He married Jennifer Beryl Daw, daughter of H. Warwick Daw, in 1971.¹ He died on 2 July 1994 at age 62 at Royal Hampshire County Hospital, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.^1,3
