     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the QVO Corps Guides Cavalry, Indian Army.¹ He also had three children by his second wife.³

     Major George William Garforth-Bles was born on 7 October 1941.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Col. George David Garforth-Bles and Susan Muir Mackenzie.² He married Rosevita B. Fill, daughter of Dr. Ing. Richard Fill, on 9 January 1971.¹
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Downing College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Horse Regiment (Black Watch.)¹ He lived in 2003 at Lee Wood, Staunton on Arrow, Leominster, Herefordshire, England^G.¹

     Dr. Ing. Richard Fill lived at Vienna, Austria^G.¹

     Rosevita B. Fill was born in 1943 at Vienna, Austria.² She was the daughter of Dr. Ing. Richard Fill.³ She married Major George William Garforth-Bles, son of Lt.-Col. George David Garforth-Bles and Susan Muir Mackenzie, on 9 January 1971.¹ She died on 9 May 2015.²
     She was given the name of Roswitha Fill at birth.² From 9 January 1971, her married name became Garforth-Bles.

     George David Richard Garforth-Bles was born on 16 July 1980.¹ He is the son of Major George William Garforth-Bles and Rosevita B. Fill.²

     Melanie Sophia Garforth-Bles was born on 11 March 1978.¹ She is the daughter of Major George William Garforth-Bles and Rosevita B. Fill.²

     Suzanna Mary Garforth-Bles was born on 30 March 1943.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. George David Garforth-Bles and Susan Muir Mackenzie.² She married Anthony Richard Birley, son of Professor Eric Barff Birley, on 1 August 1963.¹ She and Anthony Richard Birley were divorced in 1986.¹
     From 1 August 1963, her married name became Birley. She lived in 2003 at 2 Anchor Terrace, Chalford Vale, Stroud, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹

     Professor Eric Barff Birley is the son of Joseph Harold Birley and Edith Gladys Fernandes Lewis.²
     He lived at Carvoran House, Greenhead, Cumbria, England^G.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)¹

     Anthony Richard Birley is the son of Professor Eric Barff Birley.² He married Suzanna Mary Garforth-Bles, daughter of Lt.-Col. George David Garforth-Bles and Susan Muir Mackenzie, on 1 August 1963.¹ He and Suzanna Mary Garforth-Bles were divorced in 1986.¹
