     John Cromie married Ellen Jane Pennefather, daughter of Richard Pennefather and Jane Bennet. He married Mary Anne Cleaver, daughter of Most Rev. Euseby Cleaver and Catherine Wynne, on 15 April 1816 at Fulham, London, England.2 A settlement for the marriage between him and Olivia Johnson-Walsh was made on 30 April 1833.3 He married, fourthly, Emily Montagu, daughter of Lord William Francis Montagu and Emily Dupré, on 23 November 1865.1 He died on 17 January 1879.1
     He lived at Cromore, Portstewart, County Londonderry, IrelandG.3 He lived at Cromore, County Antrim, IrelandG.1
