He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Rose, of Montreal [U.K., 1872] on 11 July 1915.1 He was educated at Beaumont College, Old Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was a painter and author.1 He was artistic adviser to The Edinburgh Tapestry Company and Roosen Silks Ltd.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1940 and 1942, in the Royal Air Force, and was invalided.1
