     He was educated at Dartmouth College, Hanover, New Hampshire, U.S.A.G.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He was awarded the Bronze Star in 1950.1 He fought in the Korean War.1 He was awarded the Bronze Star in 1965.1 He fought in the Vietnam War in 1965.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the U.S. Marine Corps.1
