     John William Rogerson married Louise Egerton Cunliffe, daughter of Maj.-Gen. George Gordon Cunliffe and Pauline Lumsdaine, in 1895.¹

     Maj.-Gen. Robert Henry Cunliffe was born on 6 July 1832.¹ He was the son of Brooke Cunliffe and Elizabeth Rayson.² He died on 18 October 1903 at age 71, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Major-General in the Madras Army.¹

     Catherine Odell was the daughter of John Odell and Catherine Young.¹ She married Reverend Percy Scott Smyth, son of Percy Scott Smyth, on 4 September 1827.² She died on 31 May 1882.¹
     From 4 September 1827, her married name became Scott Smyth.²

     Frances Lyon was the daughter of Reverend James R. Lyon.² She married Brooke Cunliffe, son of Sir Foster Cunliffe, 3rd Bt. and Harriet Kinloch, on 12 September 1850.¹ She died on 16 January 1865.¹
     From 12 September 1850, her married name became Cunliffe.

     Reverend Percy Scott Smyth was the son of Percy Scott Smyth.¹ He married Catherine Odell, daughter of John Odell and Catherine Young, on 4 September 1827.¹ He died in 1846.¹

     Edward Odell was born in 1807.² He was the son of John Odell and Catherine Young.² He married Harriette Richarda Nugent Humble, daughter of Sir John Nugent Humble, 1st Bt. and Mary Dodson Power, in 1838.² He died on 7 October 1869.²
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)² He lived at Carriglea, County Waterford, Ireland^G.¹

     Colonel Foster Lionel Cunliffe was born on 20 April 1854.¹ He was the son of Brooke Cunliffe and Frances Lyon.² He married, firstly, Alice Mary Lyon, daughter of Edward Lyon, on 10 April 1894.¹ He married, secondly, Rose Nannette Fenwick, daughter of G. J. Fenwick, on 7 August 1912.² He died on 15 April 1927 at age 72.¹
     He fought in the Afghan War between 1878 and 1879.¹ He fought in the Tirah Expedition in 1897.¹ He gained the rank of Brevet Colonel in the Royal Horse Artillery.¹ He was commander of the Artillery Territorial Forces between 1908 and 1911.¹

     Edward Lyon lived at Windlesham Hall, Bagshot, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Alice Mary Lyon was the daughter of Edward Lyon.² She married Colonel Foster Lionel Cunliffe, son of Brooke Cunliffe and Frances Lyon, on 10 April 1894.¹ She died on 30 December 1907.¹
     From 10 April 1894, her married name became Cunliffe.
