     Mary Pirrie was the daughter of John Pirrie.2 She married Brooke Cunliffe, son of Sir Foster Cunliffe, 3rd Bt. and Harriet Kinloch, in 1814.1 She died on 11 September 1825.1
     From 1814, her married name became Cunliffe.

     Brooke Stewart Cunliffe was born on 12 June 1848.1 He was the son of Brooke Cunliffe and Diana Wentworth Stewart.2 He married Grace Amey Gordon, daughter of Thomas Gordon, in 1883.1 He died on 23 April 1936 at age 87.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 93rd Highlanders.1 He held the office of Chief Constable of Wigtownshire.1
