     Hope Gilmour was the daughter of David Gordon Gilmour.¹ She married Hon. Alastair Francis Buchan, son of John Buchan, 1st Baron Tweedsmuir and Susan Charlotte Grosvenor, on 11 April 1942.¹ She died on 2 June 1997.¹
     From 11 April 1942, her married name became Buchan.¹
