     Maurice Newton was the son of Captain R. A. Newton.² He married Josephine Mary Yorke, daughter of Commander Joseph Hugh Langdon Yorke and Ursula Mary Vere Lloyd, on 12 December 1945.¹ He died on 8 April 1949.¹
