     Robert Langdon Yorke was born in 1887.¹ He was the son of James Charles Yorke and Katharine Ellen Langdon.² He married Enid Cicely Nugent Meares, daughter of Cecil Eddis Furlong Meares, in 1914.¹ He died on 12 June 1955.²
     He graduated from Lincoln College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He held the office of Judge Chief of the Court of Oudh in 1938.¹ He was in the Indian Civil Service before 1947.¹

     Cecil Eddis Furlong Meares lived at Bedford, Bedfordshire, England^G, Bedford.¹ He was in the Indian Civil Service.¹

     Enid Cicely Nugent Meares was born circa 1893.² She was the daughter of Cecil Eddis Furlong Meares.² She married Robert Langdon Yorke, son of James Charles Yorke and Katharine Ellen Langdon, in 1914.¹ She died on 5 February 1974.¹
     From 1914, her married name became Yorke.

     Major Patrick Langdon Yorke was born on 7 January 1916.^1,2 He was the son of Robert Langdon Yorke and Enid Cicely Nugent Meares.³ He married Pamela Mary Rudgard, daughter of Lt.-Col. Harold Rudgard, on 21 October 1939.¹ He died on 5 March 1945 at age 29, from wounds received in action.³
     He graduated from Clare College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Corps Signals (Territorial Army.)¹

     Lt.-Col. Harold Rudgard was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹

     Pamela Mary Rudgard was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Harold Rudgard.² She married, firstly, Major Patrick Langdon Yorke, son of Robert Langdon Yorke and Enid Cicely Nugent Meares, on 21 October 1939.¹ She married, secondly, Robert Michael Clive on 22 July 1950.² She died on 29 September 2005.³
     From 21 October 1939, her married name became Yorke. From 22 July 1950, her married name became Clive.²

     Robert Anthony Yorke was born on 27 June 1944.¹ He is the son of Major Patrick Langdon Yorke and Pamela Mary Rudgard.² He married Morag McDow, daughter of John S. McDow, on 17 May 1975.¹
     He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England^G.² He graduated from Clare College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He graduated from London Business School, London, England^G, with a Master of Science (M.Sc.)² He lived in 2003 at Silver Birches, Bashurst Hill, Itchingfield, Sussex, England^G.¹

     John S. McDow lived at Helensburgh, Dunbartonshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Morag McDow is the daughter of John S. McDow.² She married Robert Anthony Yorke, son of Major Patrick Langdon Yorke and Pamela Mary Rudgard, on 17 May 1975.¹
     From 17 May 1975, her married name became Yorke.
