     Archibald John Thomas Francis Aitchison was born circa 1861 at London, England.² He was the son of General Sir John Aitchison and Ellen Elizabeth Mayhew.^3,2 He married, firstly, Anna Theodosia Guinness, daughter of Richard Seymour Guinness and Elizabeth Jane Susanna Darley, on 20 September 1899.⁴ He married, secondly, Evelyn Charlotte Ram, daughter of Reverend George Stopford Ram and Hon. Charlotte Anne O’Brien, in 1903 at Kensington, London, England.² He died in 1908 at Christchurch, Hampshire, England.²
