     Major Alan Charles Grenville Luther was the son of Fletcher Luther.² He married Mary Cecily Noel, daughter of Major Gerard Thomas Noel and Edith Mary Byron, on 27 July 1921.¹ He died on 23 June 1961.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Reserve of Officers, Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹

     Audrey Noel was born on 7 May 1894.¹ She was the daughter of Major Gerard Thomas Noel and Edith Mary Byron.² She married Lt.-Col. Thomas Bromhead Butt, son of Thomas Bromhead Butt and Alice Bovill, on 14 September 1918.¹ She died in March 1966 at age 71, without issue.¹
     From 14 September 1918, her married name became Butt.

     Thomas Bromhead Butt was born on 17 October 1857 at Lochgilphead, Argyllshire, Scotland.² He was the son of Lt.-Col. Thomas Bromhead Butt and Geraldine May Sewell.² He married Alice Bovill, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir William Bovill and Maria Bolton, circa 30 October 1888 at Lindula Church, Dimbula, Sri Lanka.² He died on 26 October 1895 at age 38 at Lamoenfontein, Cape Province, South Africa.²
     He lived at Barkston Gardens, London, England^G.¹

     Lt.-Col. Thomas Bromhead Butt was born in 1892 at London, England.² He was the son of Thomas Bromhead Butt and Alice Bovill.^3,2 He married Audrey Noel, daughter of Major Gerard Thomas Noel and Edith Mary Byron, on 14 September 1918.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry.¹

     Hugh Middleton Noel was born on 3 April 1862.¹ He was the son of Hon. Henry Lewis Noel and Emily Elizabeth Noel.² He married Helen Winifred Gibbs, daughter of Robert Gibbs, on 20 June 1901.¹

     Robert Gibbs lived at Bedford, Bedfordshire, England^G.¹

     Helen Winifred Gibbs was the daughter of Robert Gibbs.² She married Hugh Middleton Noel, son of Hon. Henry Lewis Noel and Emily Elizabeth Noel, on 20 June 1901.¹ She died in 1958.¹
     From 20 June 1901, her married name became Noel.

     Geoffrey Francis Middleton Noel was born in 1902.¹ He was the son of Hugh Middleton Noel and Helen Winifred Gibbs.² He died in October 1971, unmarried.¹

     Leland Hugh Wriothesley Noel was born on 6 June 1906.¹ He was the son of Hugh Middleton Noel and Helen Winifred Gibbs.² He married Barbara Jean Meier, daughter of A. H. Meier, in 1941.¹ He died on 18 May 1996 at age 89.¹
     He was a landscape artist.¹
