     John Howard Demarest was born on 25 October 1867 at New York City, New York, U.S.A.^G.¹ He was the son of Aaran Tallman Demarest and Charlotte A. Gardner.¹ He died on 29 August 1932 at age 64 at Saranac Lake, New York, U.S.A.^G.¹
     He was a carriage manufacturer in 1900 at Harrietstown, Franklin County, New York, U.S.A.^G.¹

     John Byron Noel was born on 6 April 1891.¹ He was the son of Major Gerard Thomas Noel and Edith Mary Byron.² He married Rosamond Hankey, daughter of Major Charles Alers Hankey, on 20 September 1924.¹ He died on 18 October 1969 at age 78, without issue.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he became a POW.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry, and attached to 1st Volunteer Battalion, Karelian Regiment.¹ He was Military Cross (M.C.) in 1920.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹

     Rosamond Hankey was the daughter of Major Charles Alers Hankey.² She married John Byron Noel, son of Major Gerard Thomas Noel and Edith Mary Byron, on 20 September 1924.¹ She died on 25 April 1971.¹
     From 20 September 1924, her married name became Noel.

     William Henry Middleton Noel was born on 11 September 1898.¹ He was the son of Major Gerard Thomas Noel and Edith Mary Byron.² He married Jacqueline Naomi Bendall, daughter of R. Bendall, on 12 January 1934.¹ He died on 6 August 1954 at age 55.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Yorkshire Regiment.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 4th Armoured Car Regiment, South African Forces.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹

     R. Bendall lived at Ofcolaco, Transvaal, South Africa^G.¹

     Jacqueline Naomi Bendall was the daughter of R. Bendall.² She married William Henry Middleton Noel, son of Major Gerard Thomas Noel and Edith Mary Byron, on 12 January 1934.¹ She died in 1984.¹
     From 12 January 1934, her married name became Noel.

     Gerard Roland Noel was born on 16 July 1936.¹ He is the son of William Henry Middleton Noel and Jacqueline Naomi Bendall.² He married Lina Micayabas, daughter of E. Micayabas, in 1975.¹
