     Brig.-Gen. Sir Robert Pigot, 6th Bt. was born on 3 May 1882.¹ He was the son of Sir George Pigot, 5th Bt. and Alice Louisa Raynsford Mackenzie.² He married Norah Beatrice Oakeley Hargreaves, daughter of Captain Charles Reginald Hargreaves, on 21 August 1913.¹ He died on 27 December 1977 at age 95.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Flying Officer in 1913 in the Royal Flying Corps.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Rifle Brigade.¹ He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in 1918.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Pigot, of Patshull, Staffordshire [G.B., 1764] on 25 May 1934.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Wing Commander in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.¹

     Captain Charles Reginald Hargreaves gained the rank of Captain in the 13th Hussars.² He lived at Remenham, Wraysbury, Berkshire, England^G.¹

     Norah Beatrice Oakeley Hargreaves was the daughter of Captain Charles Reginald Hargreaves.² She married Brig.-Gen. Sir Robert Pigot, 6th Bt., son of Sir George Pigot, 5th Bt. and Alice Louisa Raynsford Mackenzie, on 21 August 1913.¹ She died on 26 November 1969.¹
     From 21 August 1913, her married name became Pigot.

     Margot Pigot was born on 21 September 1914.³ She was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Sir Robert Pigot, 6th Bt. and Norah Beatrice Oakeley Hargreaves.³ She married, firstly, Major Donald Ian Molteno, son of Donald Jarvis Molteno, on 15 May 1940.³ She married, secondly, Edward John McDonald Dent, son of Edward John Dent, on 15 February 1949.³ She died on 9 November 2017 at age 103.⁴
     From 15 May 1940, her married name became Molteno. From 15 February 1949, her married name became Dent.³ She lived in 2003 at Manor Farm, Broughton, Hampshire, England^G.³

     Donald Jarvis Molteno was the son of Percy Alport Molteno.²
     He lived at Glenlyon, Perthshire, Scotland^G.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹

     Major Donald Ian Molteno was the son of Donald Jarvis Molteno.² He married Margot Pigot, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Sir Robert Pigot, 6th Bt. and Norah Beatrice Oakeley Hargreaves, on 15 May 1940.¹ He died in February 1945, killed in action.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Black Watch.¹

     Susan Ferelith Molteno was born on 27 February 1941.¹ She is the daughter of Major Donald Ian Molteno and Margot Pigot.² She married Timothy Robert Malden Ashfield, son of Claude Robert Wodley Ashfield, on 4 April 1961.¹
     From 4 April 1961, her married name became Ashfield. She lived in 2003 at 37 Perrymead Street, London, England^G.¹

     Claude Robert Wodley Ashfield lived at Podkin Farm House, High Halden, Kent, England^G.¹ Claude Robert Wodley Ashfield usually went by his middle name of Robert.¹

     Timothy Robert Malden Ashfield is the son of Claude Robert Wodley Ashfield.² He married Susan Ferelith Molteno, daughter of Major Donald Ian Molteno and Margot Pigot, on 4 April 1961.¹
