     Circa 1153 he possessed the northern part of the territorial Barony of Crawford (later called Crawfordjohn.)¹

     Sir Reginald de Craufurd was born circa 1165.¹ He was the son of John Craufurd.² He married Margaret de Loudoun, daughter of James de Loudoun.¹
     He held the office of Sheriff of Ayr.¹ He had three other sons.¹

     Margaret de Loudoun is the daughter of James de Loudoun.¹ She married Sir Reginald de Craufurd, son of John Craufurd.¹
     Her married name became Craufurd.

     John de Craufurd is the son of Sir Reginald de Craufurd and Margaret de Loudoun.²

     Hugh Craufurd of Loudon is the son of Sir Reginald de Craufurd and Margaret de Loudoun.^2,1
     In 1226 he inherited his mother’s property of Loudoun.¹ In 1228 he was granted by Alan, Lord of Galloway, Constable of Scotland, the lands of Crosbie and Monnoch.¹

     Hugh Craufurd of Loudon is the son of Hugh Craufurd of Loudon.² He married Alicia (?)¹
     He received a charter of the lands of Draffen with his wife.¹

     Alicia (?) married Hugh Craufurd of Loudon, son of Hugh Craufurd of Loudon.¹
     Her married name became Craufurd.

     Sir Reginald Craufurd of Loudon was the son of Hugh Craufurd of Loudon and Alicia (?)² He married Cecilia (?)¹ He died circa 1297, murdered by the English garrison at the Black Parliament of Ayr.¹
     He held the office of Sheriff of Ayr.¹
