[Scotland] in February 1660/61.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Earl of Kincardine [S., 1647] in 1662.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Bruce of Torry [S., 1647] in 1662.1 He held the office of Commissioer of the Treausry [Scotland] between 1666 and 1674, jointly.1 He held the office of Extraordinary Lord of Session between 1667 and 1680.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) between 1674 and 1676.1
