     Alan Bruce Strachan Rennie-Strachan-Carnegie was born on 27 January 1875.¹ He was the son of Claud Cathcart Rennie-Strachan-Carnegie and Mary Madeline Breakenridge.¹ He died on 6 August 1948 at age 73.¹
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1896 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Forfar and Kincardine Militia.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the North Scottish, Royal Garrison Artillery.¹ He was a practising Advocate in 1902.¹

     Dorothy Olivia Strachan Rennie-Strachan-Carnegie was born on 27 March 1877.¹ She was the daughter of Claud Cathcart Rennie-Strachan-Carnegie and Mary Madeline Breakenridge.¹ She married David Horndon, son of David William Hicks John Horndon, on 9 January 1907.¹ She died on 9 June 1954 at age 77.¹
     From 9 January 1907, her married name became Horndon.¹

     David Horndon was the son of David William Hicks John Horndon.¹ He married Dorothy Olivia Strachan Rennie-Strachan-Carnegie, daughter of Claud Cathcart Rennie-Strachan-Carnegie and Mary Madeline Breakenridge, on 9 January 1907.¹ He died on 11 July 1938.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹

     David William Hicks John Horndon married Susannah Read Hext, daughter of Admiral William Hext.
     He lived at Pencrebar, Callington, Cornwall, England^G.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹

     Elizabeth Carnegie was born circa May 1784.¹ She was the daughter of Sir David Carnegie, 4th Bt. and Agnes Murray Elliot.¹ She died on 3 July 1884, unmarried.¹

     Anne Carnegie was the daughter of Sir David Carnegie, 4th Bt. and Agnes Murray Elliot.¹ She married Rear-Admiral Robert Wauchope on 17 April 1822.¹ She died on 23 April 1879.¹
     From 17 April 1822, her married name became Wauchope.¹

     Rear-Admiral Robert Wauchope married Anne Carnegie, daughter of Sir David Carnegie, 4th Bt. and Agnes Murray Elliot, on 17 April 1822.¹ He died in June 1852.¹

     Eleanor Carnegie was the daughter of Sir David Carnegie, 4th Bt. and Agnes Murray Elliot.¹ A contract for the marriage of Eleanor Carnegie and James Evans was signed on 9 June 1828.¹ She died on 27 September 1855, without issue.¹
     From 9 June 1828, her married name became Evans.¹

     A contract for the marriage of James Evans and Eleanor Carnegie was signed on 9 June 1828.¹
     He lived at Norwood, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Mary Carnegie was the daughter of Sir David Carnegie, 4th Bt. and Agnes Murray Elliot.¹ She married Thomas Henry Graham on 6 March 1829.¹ She died on 22 November 1877, without issue.¹
     From 6 March 1829, her married name became Graham.¹
