     Rachel and Thomas and Rachel Allen immigrated to Lyttelton, Canterbury, New ZealandG, on the ship Chariot of Fame, arriving on 29 January 1863.1 He was a dairy worker with the Waterton Dairy and Cheese Factory from 1870 to 1880 at Waterton, Canterbury, New ZealandG.1
