     Dorothea Claudine Rothe Vesey was born in 1871.² She was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. George Henry Vesey and Constance Marshall.¹ She married Wilfrid Fowke on 19 April 1913.¹ She died on 17 June 1948.¹
