Fanny Lucy Radmall was born on 8 April 1857 at 13 Lower Kennnington Green, Lambeth, London, England.2 She was the daughter of Thomas Radmall and Maria Isabella Clark.1,2 She married, firstly, Lt.-Col. Sir Theodore Francis Brinckman, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Theodore Henry Brinckman, 2nd Bt. and Lady Cecilia Augusta Conyngham, on 3 September 1883.1 She and Lt.-Col. Sir Theodore Francis Brinckman, 3rd Bt. were divorced on 14 January 1895.1 She married, secondly, George Frederick William Byron, 9th Baron Byron of Rochdale, son of Hon. Frederick Byron and Mary Jane Wescomb, on 1 March 1901 at All Souls, Marylebone, London, EnglandG.3,4 She married, thirdly, Sir Robert Paterson Houston, 1st Bt. on 12 December 1924.3 She died on 29 December 1936 at age 79.1 She was buried at East Finchley Cemetery, East Finchley, London, England.
Fanny Lucy Radmall used the stage-name of Poppy.2 From 3 September 1883, her married name became Brinckman. After her marriage, Fanny Lucy Radmall was styled as Baroness Byron of Rochdale on 1 March 1901. From 1 March 1901, her married name became Byron. She was appointed Dame Commander, Order of the British Empire (D.B.E.) in 1917.3 From 12 December 1924, her married name became Houston. In 1931 she donated £100,000 to Supermarine, allowing them to win the Schneider Trophy in that year.2
