Lady Diana Grey1

Lady Diana Grey was born before 1625 at St. Bartholomew the Less, London, EnglandG.1 She was the daughter of Henry Grey, 1st Earl of Stamford and Lady Anne Cecil.4 She married Robert Bruce, 2nd Earl of Elgin, son of Thomas Bruce, 1st Earl of Elgin and Anne Chichester, on 16 February 1645/46 at St. Alphage’s, Greenwich, EnglandG.1 She died on 8 April 1689.1 She was buried on 12 April 1689 at Maulden, Bedfordshire, EnglandG.5 Her will was proven (by probate) on 26 February 1689/90.5
From 16 February 1645/46, her married name became Bruce. After her marriage, Lady Diana Grey was styled as Countess of Elgin on 21 June 1663. After her marriage, Lady Diana Grey was styled as Countess of Ailesbury on 18 March 1664/65. Her last will was dated 14 January 1685/86.

Henry Grey, 1st Earl of Stamford 

Henry Grey, 1st Earl of Stamford was born in 1599. He was the son of Sir John Grey and Elizabeth Nevill.1 He married Lady Anne Cecil, daughter of William Cecil, 2nd Earl of Exeter and Elizabeth Drury, on 19 July 1620.2 He died on 21 July 1673.2
He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Grey, of Groby, co. Leicester [E., 1603] on 26 July 1614.2 He was created 1st Earl of Stamford, co. Lincoln [England] on 26 March 1628.2

Dorothy Wright1

Dorothy Wright was the daughter of Sir Nathan Wright.3 She married Henry Grey, 3rd Earl of Stamford, son of Hon. John Grey and Hon. Catherine Ward, on 6 July 1704.1 She died on 12 August 1738.1
Her married name became Grey. After her marriage, Dorothy Wright was styled as Countess of Stamford on 31 January 1719/20.
