     Mary Blennerhassett was born in 1517.¹ She was the daughter of George Blennerhassett and Anne Covert.¹ She married, firstly, Thomas Colepeper, son of Nicholas Colepeper, in a childless marriage.¹ She married, secondly, Francis Bacon on 24 May 1573 in a childless marriage.¹ She died on 17 September 1587.¹
