     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.⁴ He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded three times.⁴ He gained the rank of Captain in the Black Watch (RHR.)⁴ He was educated at Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.⁴
