     William Lemprière Couper was born on 17 February 1874.1 He was the son of General James Kempt Couper and Emily Jane Earle.2 He married Isabel Hodgson, daughter of Thomas John Hodgson, on 10 October 1919.1 He died on 12 November 1925 at age 51.1

     Isabel Hodgson was the daughter of Thomas John Hodgson.1 She married, firstly, William Lemprière Couper, son of General James Kempt Couper and Emily Jane Earle, on 10 October 1919.1 She married, secondly, Arthur Alfred Hitch in 1952.1 She died on 10 December 1968.1
     From 10 October 1919, her married name became Couper. From 1952, her married name became Hitch.1
