     Jean Biddulph was born on 2 August 1923.¹ She was the daughter of Colonel Francis John Biddulph and Una Dorothy Kendall Tancock.¹ She married Ian Hugh Norton, son of Venerable Hugh Ross Norton and Jessie Muriel Glover, on 9 April 1949.¹ She died on 21 December 2016 at age 93.²
     She served in the Second World War, in the Women’s Royal Naval Service.¹ From 9 April 1949, her married name became Norton.¹

     Ian Hugh Norton was born in 1923 at Wakefield, Yorkshire, England^G.² He was the son of Venerable Hugh Ross Norton and Jessie Muriel Glover.^1,2 He married Jean Biddulph, daughter of Colonel Francis John Biddulph and Una Dorothy Kendall Tancock, on 9 April 1949.¹ He died in 2002.³
