     Ellen Caroline Butler was the daughter of Hon. Charles Lennox Butler and Eliza Holland.¹ She married Edward Allesley Boughton Ward-Boughton-Leigh, son of John Ward-Boughton-Leigh and Theodosia de Malsburgh Leigh, on 19 December 1867.¹ She died on 10 February 1922.¹
     From 19 December 1867, her married name became Ward-Boughton-Leigh.¹

     Edward Allesley Boughton Ward-Boughton-Leigh was born in 1822.² He was the son of John Ward-Boughton-Leigh and Theodosia de Malsburgh Leigh.² He married Ellen Caroline Butler, daughter of Hon. Charles Lennox Butler and Eliza Holland, on 19 December 1867.¹ He died on 25 May 1894.³

     Reverend Dr. James William Hatherell lived at Westend, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)¹

     Lt.-Col. James Hatherell was the son of Reverend Dr. James William Hatherell.¹ He married Eliza Emily Butler, daughter of Hon. Charles Lennox Butler and Eliza Holland, on 21 April 1858.¹ He died on 25 December 1887.¹
