     Theobald Richard FitzWalter Butler was born on 24 May 1894.¹ He was the son of Theobald Butler and Elizabeth Bailey.¹ He married Laura Rachel Mary Nash, daughter of Sir Vincent Nash, on 28 July 1948.¹ He died on 9 March 1976 at age 81, without issue.¹
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England^G.¹ He was educated at University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1921 entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He held the office of Recorder of Newark in 1945.¹ He was Chairman of the Nottinghamshire Quarter Sessions in 1954.¹ He held the office of Bencher of the Inner Temple in 1960.¹ He was Deputy Chairman of the Middlesex Quarter Sessions between 1960 and 1965.¹ He was Chancellor of the Diocese of Peterborough in 1962.¹ He was Chairman of the Greater London (SE Area) Quarter Sessions between 1965 and 1967.¹ He was senior editor of Archbold’s Criminal Proceedings in 1973.¹ He lived at Highgate, London, England^G.¹

     Sir Vincent Nash lived at Shannon View House, Castleroy, County Limerick, Ireland^G.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹

     Laura Rachel Mary Nash is the daughter of Sir Vincent Nash.¹ She married Theobald Richard FitzWalter Butler, son of Theobald Butler and Elizabeth Bailey, on 28 July 1948.¹
     From 28 July 1948, her married name became Butler.

     Susan Elizabeth Aileen Butler was born on 1 October 1881.¹ She was the daughter of Theobald Butler and Elizabeth Bailey.¹ She married Arthur King, son of Rhees Benjamin King, on 27 November 1927.¹ She died on 19 May 1956 at age 74.¹
     From 27 November 1927, her married name became King.
