     Captain Andrew Poole Beamish was the son of Sampson Beamish and Elizabeth Poole.¹ He died in 1879, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the South Cork Militia.¹

     Francis John Beamish was baptised on 2 April 1856.¹ He was the son of Sampson Beamish and Elizabeth Poole.¹ He married Alice Hungerford, daughter of Henry Jones Hungerford and Mary Boone Cowper, on 19 June 1877.¹ He died on 6 May 1897 at age 41, without issue.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Lettercollum House, Timoleague, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Alice Hungerford was born on 17 July 1857.² She was the daughter of Henry Jones Hungerford and Mary Boone Cowper.^1,2 She married, firstly, Francis John Beamish, son of Sampson Beamish and Elizabeth Poole, on 19 June 1877.¹ She married, secondly, Kenneth Stuart Hungerford, son of Thomas Hungerford and Emma Hollingsworth Wood, on 8 January 1898.¹
     From 19 June 1877, her married name became Beamish.¹ She was a poet.²

     Kenneth Stuart Hungerford was born on 31 May 1865.² He was the son of Thomas Hungerford and Emma Hollingsworth Wood.^1,2 He married Alice Hungerford, daughter of Henry Jones Hungerford and Mary Boone Cowper, on 8 January 1898.¹

     Thomas Hungerford was born in 1823.² He was the son of Emanuel Hungerford and Catherine Loane.² He married, firstly, Emma Hollingsworth Wood, daughter of Lieutenant John Wood, on 19 July 1852.² He married, secondly, Catherine Mary Mallum, daughter of Dr. unknown Mallum, on 7 August 1872.²
     He held the office of Member of the Legislative Assembly (M.L.A.) [New South Wales]² He lived at Baerami, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia^G.¹

     Henry Jones Hungerford was born on 20 September 1825.² He was the son of Thomas Hungerford and Alicia Jones.² He married Mary Boone Cowper, daughter of Henry Augustus William Screen Cowper, on 8 December 1856.² He died on 20 November 1905 at age 80.²
     He was a practising Barrister-at-Law.² He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1849 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)² He lived at Cahirmore, Rosscarbery, County Cork, Ireland^G.²

     Lydia Maria Beamish was the daughter of Sampson Beamish and Elizabeth Poole.¹ She died in 1880, unmarried.¹

     Mary Charlotte Poole Beamish was born in 1849.¹ She was the daughter of Sampson Beamish and Elizabeth Poole.¹ She died in 1930, unmarried.¹

     Alice Eleanor Somerville Hawkes was the daughter of Corliss Hawkes.¹ She married Sampson Thomas Beamish, son of Thomas Beamish and Hannah Madras, on 5 October 1904 in a childless marriage.¹ She died on 24 December 1906.¹ She was also reported to have died on 24 November 1906.
     From 5 October 1904, her married name became Beamish.¹

     Corliss Hawkes was born on 16 April 1833.² He died on 22 June 1897 at age 64.²
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Lackaroo, Passage West, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹
