     From 1936, her married name became Pain.¹

     Cecilia Hamilton Beamish was born on 27 July 1880.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Edward Spread Beamish and Diana Spencer Lewin.¹ She married Major Lennox Cunningham Brodie, son of John Henry Brodie, on 27 January 1914 in a childless marriage.¹ She died on 21 November 1970 at age 90.¹
     From 27 January 1914, her married name became Brodie.¹

     Major Lennox Cunningham Brodie was the son of John Henry Brodie.¹ He married Cecilia Hamilton Beamish, daughter of Lt.-Col. Edward Spread Beamish and Diana Spencer Lewin, on 27 January 1914 in a childless marriage.¹ He died in 1956.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the 4th Hussars.¹

     Maria Warburton is the daughter of Very Rev. Charles Warburton.¹ She married Major John Blackburn, son of John Blackburn and Rebecca Leslie Gillies.¹
     Her married name became Blackburn.¹

     Rear-Adm. Henry Hamilton Beamish was born on 16 April 1829.¹ He was the son of Reverend Henry Hamilton Beamish and Anne Isabella Spread.¹ He married, firstly, Louisa Mary Harrison, daughter of John Slater Harrison, on 5 April 1864.¹ He married, secondly, Blanche Georgina Hughes, daughter of William Marjoribanks Loftus-Otway and Georgina Frances Otway, on 14 October 1867.¹ He died on 18 July 1901 at age 72.²
     He served with distinction in Burna, the Baltic and China.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM Queen Victoria between 1878 and 1880.¹ He lived at Mount House, Brasted, Kent, England^G.¹

     Louisa Mary Harrison was the daughter of John Slater Harrison.¹ She married, firstly, Captain Rowland Forman.¹ She married, secondly, Rear-Adm. Henry Hamilton Beamish, son of Reverend Henry Hamilton Beamish and Anne Isabella Spread, on 5 April 1864.¹ She died on 25 May 1865.¹
     Her married name became Forman.¹ From 5 April 1864, her married name became Beamish.¹

     Captain Rowland Forman married Louisa Mary Harrison, daughter of John Slater Harrison.¹ He died before 5 April 1864, when his widow remarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Rifle Brigade.¹
