     Captain George John Newman Beamish was the son of Captain Samuel George Beamish and Hannah Slingsby.¹ He died unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 14th Regiment.¹

     Frances Susannah Charlotte Beamish was the daughter of Captain Samuel George Beamish and Hannah Slingsby.¹

     John Newman Beamish was born in 1813.¹ He was the son of William Beamish and Harriet Newman.¹ He married Ellen Lidwell, daughter of George Lidwell, on 6 July 1852 in a childless marriage.¹ He died on 23 October 1886.¹
     He was a practising Attorney.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Queenstown, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Ellen Lidwell was the daughter of George Lidwell.¹ She married, firstly, John Barrett O’Sullivan.¹ She married, secondly, John Newman Beamish, son of William Beamish and Harriet Newman, on 6 July 1852 in a childless marriage.¹
     Her married name became O’Sullivan.¹ From 6 July 1852, her married name became Beamish.¹

     John Barrett O’Sullivan married Ellen Lidwell, daughter of George Lidwell.¹ He died before 6 July 1852, when his widow remarried.¹
     He was a practising Barrister-at-law.¹

     George Lidwell lived at Ballyboden, County Laois, Ireland^G.¹

     Reverend Adam Newman Beamish was born in 1815.¹ He was the son of William Beamish and Harriet Newman.¹ He married Mary Catherine Newman, daughter of Adam Newman, on 26 April 1848.¹ He died on 26 October 1876.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1837 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was ordained in 1840.¹ He was the Rector between 1858 and 1859 at Studley, Wells, Somerset, England^G.¹ He was the Rector between 1859 and 1863 at Kimble, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹ He was Treasurer in 1863 at Cloyne Cathedral, Cloyne, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Mary Catherine Newman was the daughter of Adam Newman.¹ She married, firstly, Richard Townsend, son of Thomas Townsend and Martha Uniacke, on 22 September 1829.¹ She married, secondly, Reverend Adam Newman Beamish, son of William Beamish and Harriet Newman, on 26 April 1848.¹
     From 22 September 1829, her married name became Townsend.¹ From 26 April 1848, her married name became Beamish.¹

     Adam Newman was the son of Adam Newman and Mary Townsend.² He married Frances Dorothea Dring, daughter of Reverend Robert Dring and Eleanor Fitzgerald, in 1803.³ He died on 6 August 1859.⁴
     He lived at Dromore House, County Cork, Ireland^G.³
