     John Beamish was the son of Richard Beamish and Mary Vincole.¹ He married Elizabeth Poole, daughter of Thomas Poole, on 10 August 1767.¹ He was buried on 8 April 1827.¹
     He was the Master of the Foxhounds between 1787 and 1820 at Cashelmore, Desert, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹ He was a Freeman of Bandon in 1797.¹ He lived at Cashelmore, at Desert¹ and at Hare Hill, at Knockaveale, with both houses being in County Cork, Ireland.¹
