     Captain Adderley Beamish-Bernard was born on 18 October 1795.1 He was the son of Richard Beamish and Elizabeth Bernard.1 He married, firstly, Frances Bernard, daughter of General George Bernard.1 He married, secondly, Anne Catherine Walker, daughter of Captain George Walker and Catherine Mansergh, on 10 July 1845.1 He died on 17 July 1866 at age 70.1
     He was given the name of Adderley Beamish at birth.1 He fought in the Battle of Talavera.1 He fought in the Battle of Waterloo.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 31st Foot1, later of the Hanoverian Service.1 He was a Freeman of Cork City in 1826.1 His name was legally changed to Captain Adderley Beamish-Bernard when he assumed the additional surname of Bernard.1 He lived at Kilcoleman House, Killowen, County Cork, IrelandG,1 and at Byard’s Lodge, Knaresborough, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1

     From 20 May 1847, her married name became Bowen.1

     John Bowen was born on 27 May 1824.2 He was the son of John Bowen and Mary Honner.1,2 He and Mary Isabella Beamish-Bernard obtained a marriage license on 20 May 1847.1 He married, secondly, Dora Anne Cross, daughter of Abraham Cross, after 186521 He died on 24 May 1873 at age 48, without issue.2

     John Bowen was born on 15 January 1798.2 He was the son of John Bowen and Anne White.2 He married Mary Honner, daughter of William Honner, on 3 June 1819.2 He died on 9 May 1870 at age 72.2
