     Sir Edward Clive Bayley was born on 17 October 1821 at St. Petersburg, Russia^G.¹ He was the son of Edward Clive Bayley and Margaret Fenton.¹ He married Emily Anne Theophilia Metcalfe, daughter of Sir Thomas Theophilus Metcalfe, 4th Bt. and Félicité Anne Browne, on 6 March 1850 at Delhi, India^G.¹ He died on 30 April 1884 at age 62 at Wilminton Lodge, Keymer.¹
     He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ He was with the Bengal Civil Service between 1842 and 1854.¹ He was a Judge at Agra, India^G.¹ He held the office of Foreign Secretary to the Government of India.¹ He held the office of Home Secretary between 1862 and 1872.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Star of India (K.C.S.I.) on 1 January 1877.¹

     Emily Anne Theophilia Metcalfe was the daughter of Sir Thomas Theophilus Metcalfe, 4th Bt. and Félicité Anne Browne.² She married Sir Edward Clive Bayley, son of Edward Clive Bayley and Margaret Fenton, on 6 March 1850 at Delhi, India^G.¹ She died on 29 October 1960.²
     From 6 March 1850, her married name became Bayley.¹

     Aleida von Götterswick-Bentheim was born in 1399.¹ She married Johan II Heer van Culemborg, son of Gerard Heer van Culemborg Heer van De-Leck Maurik Schalkwijk and Bertha van Egmond, on 18 July 1415.¹ She died on 3 June 1448.¹
